Controlex Corporation is an experienced development and property management company. We manage a large portfolio of mult-unit residential buildings, office buildings, retail and commercial developments, industrial and warehouse space, and self-storage facilities. Currently, we are very active in the development area, with major developments under way in the: retail, warehouse and industrial sector, and in design-build projects.

Hawthorne Commercial

The historic use of these lands has been farming, so the site is unencumbered from any previous industrial uses. In more recent time, the lands were being developed by the City of Ottawa as a multi-tenant commercial and industrial park. Both storm sewers and sanitary sewers are already installed through the site, brining the site to the point where building construction can begin. Stormwater management solutions have already been worked out.

The buildings within the development are seen to all be of a recognizable family but allowing various compatible options to allow individuality on the frontage and to suit the various tenant requirements for access, glazing, display and signage. The buildings will be of various heights adding further interest. The building elevations allow ample area for corporate signage on all sides.
